Rapha Gentlemen's Race

Last Saturday I participated in the Rapha Gentlemen's Race, and it was hard. Here is how it went down:

  • 107 mile course in and around Boulder, designed by Rapha.

  • 13,500 feet of climbing.

  • 40% dirt.

  • 24 teams of 6 people each, where you have to start and finish with the same 6 riders.

  • Of the 24 teams, only 7 finished the full 107 mile course.

  • Of those 7 teams, only 3 finished with all 6 riders.

Our team came apart around mile 70, but the remaining 5 of us ended up riding 90 miles and climbing over 10,000 feet. I carried my Fuji X100 over my shoulder and managed to snap a few pics along the way,
