I am honored to be part of a new project with ESPN Magazine photographing top young professional athletes for an ongoing feature called "Next." So far it has been a dream job, as all the athletes are eager and excited to have their picture taken -- which makes it way more fun for everyone involved.
It's also fun to think about how any one of them may go on to be the next Jordan, Gretzky or Pele. It's possible.
As part of the feature, we are also creating 360 degree portraits for the iPad edition that allow you to spin each athlete around with the swipe of a finger. It's a great use of the touch interface for a new editorial experience.
