Studio Assistant Needed

I’m looking for help in running my multidisciplinary art studio that produces limited edition fine art prints, one-of-a-kind works on paper, NFT’s, analog clocks, and other unique objects. This is a part-time paid position that requires a minimum commitment of one year, starting in Summer 2023. Level of pay is dependent on level of skill.

Responsibilities may include:

+ Assisting in the production, delivery, and installation of artwork.
+ Consulting with clients / potential clients.
+ Coordinating and tracking marketing and sales efforts.
+ Documentation and cataloging of past and current projects.
+ Periodic production of art openings and other in-person events.
+ Video and Photo editing (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere).
+ Graphic design for online and print collateral (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign)
+ Knowledge of AfterEffects is a plus, but not required.
+ Service and repair of analog clocks. (Random, yes. But needed).
+ Scheduling and maintenance of various social media accounts.

Running an art studio requires flexibility and adaptability, so there will be additional responsibilities beyond those listed here. I have had a lot of help from many mentors over the years, so I do my best to pay it forward by being as open and transparent as possible about the realities of making a living as a creative professional. This is a great position for someone that wants to make a living as an artist, and has technical skills, but isn’t quite sure where to start.
