Built in 1923, this storefront served mostly as a neighborhood grocery. The studio is currently set up to enable and empower creative collaborations, and like its past incarnation as the corner market, is a place for people to come together.
The space is approximately 1000 square feet with hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, and according to a friend that sees things a little differently, a whole cadre of ghosts, just going about their business.
The studio offers a diverse range of lighting options -- from diffused north facing window light to complete blackout with either strobes or constant light sources. It's a versatile creative space that has been used for portraiture, still life, videos, interviews, gallery shows, and hypnosis of professional athletes.
Here are some images of the space. I'm still working on how to get a good picture of my new ghostly friends.
